Steam is the PC storefront for this game, and the store page is the single page worth bookmarking if you are planning to play on PC. It carries the requirements, the demo, the review scores after launch, and the only version of the price that you should trust.

The store page

Getting the demo

The demo is available through the Steam store page at no cost. It was updated with an expanded build after its initial release, so the version you download now is the fuller one rather than the original showing.

Two caveats worth knowing before you judge the game by it. The demo is a slice of the game rather than the opening of the campaign, and producer Akito Kadowaki has said it hands Musashi late-game abilities, which makes it easier than the full release will be.

Wishlisting and launch day

Wishlisting is the low-effort way to get a launch notification, and it is genuinely useful for a game with a date that has already moved once. Capcom moved the release earlier than the previous window, and dates can move again.

Price and regional pricing

Pricing is the single most volatile fact on this page and the one we are least willing to guess at. Capcom has not published a price in the materials available to us, and regional storefront pricing varies.

Avoiding unofficial key sellers

This is worth stating directly, because search results for this game surface a lot of them.

Sites selling Steam keys, activation codes or "cheap Steam accounts" are not official distribution. The risks are concrete: region locks that prevent activation, keys purchased with stolen payment details and later revoked, no access to refunds, and no way to get support when something goes wrong.
